Default a fun game to get the students talk to everyone in a class

First of all, I'd like to appreciate the site's hosts and everyone out here for sharing great games and ideas. So happy to find this site!!

Thought I'd share my favorite game.

Crumpled fun

This game works well when you have many students in one class. Give a piece of paper to each student. Have them fold their paper in half, and then half again. Spread it open, and there are four squares. Ask them four different questions like:
• What is your favorite movie?
• What is your favorite food?
• What do you like to do in your free time?
• When is your birthday?
They write the each answer in a different square on the paper. When they're done, have them cut out the squares, and crumple up the pieces of paper. Get a bag or box and the students then put all the crumpled up paper in it. Have them come and pick up one crumpled piece of paper, and they now have to try to find out who wrote the answer by asking their classmates questions. When they find out, they have to report to the teacher, and then try another one. If they pick up one of their own answers, they have to put it back.

The more students you have the better it works. You could always play this game with children, you could have them draw pictures instead of writing words. favorite animal, favorite sport, etc.

Enjoy!
