Yes, it's fine. Advise can be followed by direct object + infinitive, or by direct object plus "that" clause. Both are possible to give advice, (eg He advised her to stop smoking / He advised her that she should stop smoking) but the "that" construction is also used exclusively when advise has the meaning of "inform" - eg We advised her that there was nothing to be done. This is very common in reports of legal cases.
