If it was up to me, I'd change it to 1.5 hours, 2 times a week. A boy that young may have a hard time focusing for 3 intensive hours. If the mother is determined to keep the original schedule, see if she will let him take a 10 or 15 minute break between the first and second halves.
Definitely give him a variety of activities, and include some hands-on and visual ones. |
