Default English Native Teachers for Public Schools

This country (not to be confused with North Korea) is the 4th largest economy in Asia & the 15th largest in the world. It is populated with around 50m citizens. It is one of the safest countries on Earth – much more so than America, Canada or the UK.

The government has a vision of economic growth through English communication development & is therefore actively seeking English Native Teachers to educated Public Elementary, Middle & High School students. These positions are stable, recession free & lucrative. These positions are available to western citizens who hold a Bachelor diploma in any field & who have a clear criminal history. Employment contracts last for 12 full months & there are always vacancies available.

The work schedule would be from 8:30am until 4:30pm. It would be Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. Between this time, there would be 22 classes (1 Elementary = 40mins, 1 Middle = 45mins & 1 High = 50mins) per week. Classes would commence from 9am & there would be 4-5 classes per day until 3pm. Lunch is for 1hr between 12pm-1pm. Between 3pm-4:30pm you would be preparing class for the following day.

Salary is in accordance with the office of education pay scale (see here : Korean Horizons - Teach English in South Korea.) It ranges from 1.8m to 2.95m won (for currency conversions, see here : Currency Converter | OANDA), depending on the location that you choose within South Korea & your resume.

1. will be a citizen of the USA, the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa
2. will hold a Bachelor diploma in any field
3. will have a clean criminal background history
