There are loads of sites that can be used with the student.
I would recommend any of the childrens TV program sites

If the child likes any specific show, they each have their own sites and they have a lot of different activities within that theme.
I have a few vocabulary builders you can do with the student here
www.marks-english-school.com/games.html and they use pictures and have sound. There are lalso inks to other sites with similar activities, online readers and so on.
