Default What prepositions do I use?

I would like to make up two examples below.

(1) From its inception to three months after (or later), the new computer company has sold over three million units.

(2) In the first three months after (or of) its inception, the new computer company has sold over three million units.

I don't know what prepositions to use in my sentences. Please help me. Thank you very much.
