Am I using the term, job leads, correctly?

I've heard that a job lead refers to information about a job opening. I would like to use it in a sentence.

(ex) I sent my resume to the company that you had found a job lead from for me.

Please give me your comments on the way I am using the term. Thanks.

Re: Am I using the term, job leads, correctly?

You're using it correctly in terms of meaning but it's a horribly contorted sentence that no-one would use - too many prepositional phrases piling up one after the other. I'd rephrase it as : Thanks for that job lead which you found for me. I sent my resumé to the company.
