Default Are these sentences natural? April 27

Hi,

I am a newbie here. I am working on my English fluency. Though my sentences are generally gramatically correct, they tend not to be natural or idomatic. I hope native speakers here will help me with this problem.

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. Do you get an overhang form drinking this?

2. Over next five years we want to grow this company twice/ double.

3. However much you feel that way, it is not going to happen.

Thanks,
MG.

1. Do you get a hangover from drinking this?

An "overhang" is a piece of rock which sticks out from a cliff or mountain side. If you search Google images for cliff overhang you'll see some examples. A "hangover" is how you feel after drinking too much.

2. Over the next few years we want to grow this company to twice/double its size.

The expression "to grow a company" is fairly new in the language, and still sounds strange to me. But it's used a lot.

Sentence 3 sounds possible to me.
