Music talent versus musical talent?

Which one is correct? I have found examples of both on google. Thanks in advance, Sue!

Re: Music talent versus musical talent?

My immediate reaction was musical - I'd definitely use the adjective just as I would in talking about eg artistic talent. But you're quite right - examples of music talent abound on the net and art talent too, and there are similar equivalences between eg football talent and footballing talent, dance talent and dancing talent. So I'd suggest that both are right and that perhaps the language is changing away from the use of an adjective to the use of a compound noun.
