Hi,
What does this sentence mean?
" Nothing says summer like watermelon.

Think of "says" as meaning "represents". Watermelons are only available in summer. They're also wonderful to eat when it's really hot (I'm off to the supermarket to buy one now!) So the idea is that watermelon represents summer - in other words, when you see one the first thing that comes into your mind is ""Summer!" - it "says" summer to you.
