An adaptable site

I found this site with hundreds of kids games and use it quite often. Please note, it's not geared towards teaching EFL so you will have to adapt the games accordingly, but there are some fresh ideas there. http://www.gameskidsplay.net/
Hope this helps some,
Ruth

I wish the internet even existed when I had to teach kids ten years ago! :-(

Same boat but still floating.

I started my search for helpful websites about 7 years ago. Finally, I just gave up searching and devoted that time to planning and material creation.

Then opened up my own shop.:becky:

There are a lot of great sites out there now and I use quite a few to support my kids classes. I used some circle game ideas from gameskidsplay.net that went over well after slightly adapting them.

I have lots of circle games Mark, Sally Go Round the Sun, Farmers in the Dell, Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush, Looby Loo, A Tisket A Tasket (they love the running) and more.
I find games so useful as they foster cooperation. So many games discussed focus on competition and this is a balance for the kids and lets them develop social skills.
