Communicative Bingo

Last year I saw a teacher use "Communicative Bingo" in demonstration class with middle school students. He told me that he used the "make your own bingo worksheet" off of this site. Unfortunately, I can't quite remember the method behind the game. It was completely student centered. Anyone know how it works?

I have a few bingo ideas posted here www.mes-english.com/flashcards/bingo.php

Most of the ideas are students centered so maybe your colleague used one of those.

Re: Communicative Bingo

I have used a variation that I call People Bingo. Each square has a question. All students walk around with copies of the same bingo board. They try to find a student who can say yes to a question. That person writes his.or her name on the square. This was a great hit with some adult students. You make the questions according to the grammar that the students know.
You can set up the grid in Word, using table commands, and then adjust row heights and column widths. You may want to use text boxes.
