"Gentle" games

Hi everyone,

Rather unusual one here. I've just started at a new school in Taipei, taking over from a departing teacher. I've done OK so far, but have today had my school manager requesting that I use more "gentle" games in the classroom.

Obviously, there are different interpretations of gentle, but any suggestions would be very welcome. Most of my current games involve running, throwing sticky balls, races to build things with foam alphabet blocks, hitting the whiteboard with plastic hammers.

Thanks in advance,
E

In my opinion, those games you've listed are not 'gentle'. How about a message relay games? Or some mind games? Something that isn't using their energy too much, especially physically.
