An Idea for Conversation Classes - What a Pity!
 

Once I watched the movie "Notting Hill" (the scene where Julia Roberts fights over the last piece of a brownie) I had a great idea that has worked out pretty well. I work with a small group of Ss (10-12) and I bring a piece of chocolate cake or a chocolate bar, then my Ss argue over who deserves the piece for telling a story of a hard day they had. It's great to practice past tense.
