teaching simple commands

This is a funny game I did with my students I hope you can
practice it with your students.

I gave the name of this game *The Donkey's Tail*

1. teach this words: [b]up, down, move to the left, move to the right, go back, foward[/B.
command students to put their hands UP/ Down
and move their hands to the Right/ Left.
have students move Back and foward

3. practice the movements several times having students to pronounce the words while they are making movements. make sure Students understand the commands.

4. Then stick on the board a drawing of a Donky without the tail.
ask for a volunteer to wear a blindfold.
picks a starting place around the classroon

5.The teacher says: GO!!! and who are not blindfolded must guide the blind student, using the commands: UP/ DOWN /MOVE TO THE RIGHT, MOVE TO THE LEFT and so on.

if the students stick the Donkey's Tail in the right position get a candy.

you can practice this same game making competition among girls and boys.

:cheer2:
