Upcoming Halloween activities

I know I still have a month till halloween, but I've got to plan in advanced!
I'm working with a group of 25 teens (around 15-16 years old) and I would like to create a halloween lesson. However, they complained when I said "halloween" because they instantly assumed it was the old, boring halloween stuff: costumes, candy, etc. I would like ideas to come up with an original lesson, including some games that aren't for kids (most halloween games are targeted towards little kids) but that are suitable for teenagers.

There are some ideas I wrote out on another forum. One fun game for teens would be the Tootsie Toss. Games that take some dexterity are usually good for teens.

For people with younger groups, you can just do some printable Halloween party activities

With teens, I'd suggest some sort of fun team games. Or maybe you could try and provide them with a unique experience they didn't have as children with Halloween (something along the lines of using a Ouija board).

You could also try doing a pass the mic ghost story telling. Students sit in a circle and take turns telling a part of a ghost story. You start off the story, create the beginning and story set up and then 'pass the mic' to the person next to you. You could turn off the lights and use a flashlight as the mic.

It's not really a game, but it's a fun activity that encourages some creative use of English.

I did a Pumpkin Hunt :) kinda like an Easter Egg Hunt, but with Pumpkins. It's amazing how a bunch of 15year-old kids can behave like 5year-olds LOL. They had a lot of fun. Thanks for all your help.

I think this Sounds of Halloween quiz I put together would work well with groups of teens.
