A question to the other online teachers: How are your online language schools going?

Hello. I would like to open language school in Los Angeles as well. I teach Russian at 3 different schools. Now, looking for the information which will help me to open my own schools. Any ideas?

Hi George,

If you google ELT management you'll find lots of courses which deal with language school management - despite the name "ELT" it really makes no difference what languages you're offering. Language school management is language school management. Most courses call themselves "ELT management" simply because English is the most commonly offered (and therefore googled) language. Obviously, before signing up, check that it is not specifically English language oriented - but I think you'll find the answer is generally no.
Alternatively try this book : White et al (2010) - Management in English Language Teaching - CUP
Hope that helps.
Sue
