Have you ever gotten "the bump"
 

I just came back from taveling, literally, half-way around the world. On my way to Florida, I got bumped to business class for my 15 hour flight. Has that ever happened to you guys? It was absolutely amazing!

If you ask sometimes they do it for free...I have never been bumped to buisness or first class without asking though. Thats great though...I love buisness class...so roomy and comfortable.

Never happened. But how would i go about asking for an upgrade? (for future reference).

It is easy. When you check in...just ask if it would be possible to get an upgrade. If you are well dressed and if you check in easy...you might be able to get the upgrade. Be careful though cause the last time I did that it got me on standby for first class...even though I had had a 100% seat in economy. I was a bit nervous to say the least.

Well-dressed? See, that's messed up. I have seen some strange fellows in first and business. I guess they got "the bump" too!

Yeah, I just found out that trans-oceanic flights aren't supposed to get the bump. Only domestic flights! Talk about luckkY!:becky:
