I would love to learn Turkish because I am moving to Turkey in a month or so. But, other than me, I have never met anyone in this part of the world (China) who speaks or wants to speak Turkish - most people have no idea where Turkey is.
English is the language of global business, so everyone wants to learn that.

Hello Ruth ..
Firsly, I have to say that I felt bad when I read about both Turkey's and Turkish's unpopularity... That's sad..
