| | Japan - New Sunshine users! This thread is specific to teachers in Japan using New Sunshine English textbooks.
I am in the process of building a new area on my website that will encompass these textbooks but am trying to build it using xerox copies I 'acquired' awhile back from these textbooks. It would be extremely helpful to me if I could get in touch with peeps currently using these textbooks.
The faster I get these new pages up, the sooner NS users will be able to start using the new rockin' resource.
You can either post here in the forum or PM me.
Thanks! |

| | Re: Japan - New Sunshine users! LOL! No copyright violation...I think. I don't want anything from the textbook except for some grammar information and where the grammar points are located. I am building a cool invisible spiderweb whereas New Sunshine textbook teaching teachers can surf through my site via the textbooks they use at their own schools.
I've already linked 3 of the textbooks if you wanna take a look, CLICK HERE |

And do you mean surf through the textbook via your website?

| | Re: Japan - New Sunshine users! Basically, I need the example sentences of all the grammar points in the NS textbooks. I am in the process of building a page for these sentences. These sentences will be hyperlinked to the webpage on my site that has all the activities and games people have submitted to me for that specific grammar point.
So, I guess the 'example sentences' from the NS textbooks are going to be used as a 'map' to guide NS users to the appropriate grammar page.
Does that explanation make more sense? |

| | Re: Japan - New Sunshine users! yeah, it does. that doesn't seem to be an issue to me. basically you are supplying supplemental activities based on the teaching point. that, imo, would be a benefit of choosing that textbook if i were a teacher there.

| | Re: Japan - New Sunshine users! I don't use NS textbooks. I'm just trying to link all of Japan's public JHS English textbooks together for everyone to use. While I have my own opinion of which textbook are less suckier, I'm not trying to favorite one over the other.
Thanks Eric for your comments. You had me kinda nervous there for a sec...
The bigger Englipedia becomes, I know it's just a matter of time until the textbook companies get a whiff of the site. I've already started thinking about backup plans if they should every come after me regarding a copyright issue.
Now, back to the question...any Japan-based New Sunshine textbook users out there? |
