Opinions about this TEFL program

I am thinking about enrolling in i-to-i's TEFL online course. Here's their website if you want to check them out

Has anyone here competed the course?

Even if you haven't taken the course do you any opinions about it?

Any recommendations for comparable courses?

Thank you!

Re: Opinions about this TEFL program

I did the course back in 2003 and found it very helpful as I hadn't started to teach then and needed some training. I did their intensive weekend course then and did the Diploma last year. It was helpful for me but it depends on what you are looking for. Some people said that there are better courses out there but I don't know anything about that. For me I wanted to do a masters in TEFL and I wanted a little taste first to see if I would like it. I did and took the masters course.

Have you taught before? Where do you hope to go after you finish the course?

Thanks for responding.

I just started with the JET.Program in August. I didn't have any kind of formal teaching training before starting. I hope to gain some skills, and I'm considering continuing to teach after the program. Here or somewhere else in the world.
