Default A big hello from The Great White North!

Hiya folks! Mrcards from ESL Elite just dropping by to give a big shout out to all my teaching brothers and sisters, and hard-working student buddies! I live in Canada and right now it's pretty darn cold, that's why they sometimes call it The Great White North. I'd like to say to Eric, very nice site and a very warm and welcome feeling here. If you don't mind, I'll just pull up a chair and hang out for a while. Take care of yourselves, everybody!

I'm in London, Ontario. Not super cold, but certainly cool enough. Wish it were warm, that's for sure. Are you Canadian, Eric?

No, I'm from the states but my wife is Canadian and we'll probably be heading to Montreal (or somewhere in Quebec) after we leave Korea.

Well, good for you. For many Canadians, going to Quebec is like going to another country. New language, new culture, but it is fascinating with a deep, rich culture. Enjoy!

Hi! I'm also from the Great White North - Quebec too! After my first teaching job in China for 8 months I'm back home teaching English to French Canadians! Hope to travel again in the near future - Anyone been to Chili?? By the way, Spring has sprung - more brown than white right now. Can't wait for the grass & flowers.

Good for you, Susan. It's nice to be able to bring your teaching skills back to your own country. Quebec is such a beautiful place, too. Sorry to say, I've never been to Chili.

Hi Susan!
I might be doing a bit of that when i get back there. What are the typical qualifications for getting a job? How do you like it?
