Hello, fellow ESL instructors --
I am just sharing some words now to introduce myself to the community. I just began teaching about a month ago, so I'm very interested in gathering materials, information, and just chatting about the trials and joys of teaching. One thing I'm extremely interested in is incorporating music into the classroom - does anyone know where to find a super-cheap yet quality tape-player? I live in Canada, so if any fellow Canucks have suggestions, please send them my way!
Aside from all this, I'm glad to join this community and look forward to meeting others...

im curious as to how you came up with the username edwinthejellyfish. its pretty funny even though i despise jellyfish after once being severly stung.
what city are you teaching in?
not sure about a radio as i have been abroad too long to know where to find good deals. you might try ebay. theres always cheap electronics there.

A cheap, good quality tape player... I would check in the 80's. Sorry, too early for jokes?
Most of what you'll find will be CD players but a good tape player can be handy for taping your own dialogues (or dialogues with a friend.) Good luck finding one. Try a recycle store or any garage/yard sale (that might hit the super cheap target but maybe not the quality issue.)
