| | | Hello from China Hey All,
My name is Brandon and I am on here to find some materials, hints, and ideas for my staff and I. As well who knows maybe I will meet some good people I can add to my team here in Xi'an, China.

I pretty much only hear bad stories out of China (maybe because people take time to complain more than they do to rejoice.) What's your situation like over there? |

| | | Re: Hello from China Eric:
Originally I am from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. But I really do not feel connected to the Western world which is why I am no longer there. I have moved to China, not just a stint. I will probably still do some travelling but this has been a life long dream from when I was a young boy.
Mesmark:
I am actually loving China. I have met lot's of great people, both foreign and local, the food is great, the history is amazing. The company I work for is Chinese owned so I must work hard to enact change but the changes are happening. Overall I would say China is pretty decent, and Xi'an is great.

| | How many ESL free lancers? Hi Brandon, Eric and all ESL friends! Many thanks for sharing your experiences with us - it's good I have found your site.
Does anyone have any idea how many professionals might be teaching ESL as free lancers around the world? I understand this number will difficult to establish but maybe somebody could try and guestimate?
Thanks in advance and talk to you soon,
