Hello from Kyoto Japan! Hello Everyone!
My name is Ariel and I'm an EFL/ESL teacher over in Japan. I am currently working as the Head Teacher at a small eikaiwa (English language school) where my primary levels are kindergarten and infants. I also teach senior citizens and middle schoolers. \
I would consider myself a very organized, creative teacher who would often rather make my own materials than buy them (I built an entire felt crepe shop for my kinders and am currently working on a hamburger stand). My primary objective for my kindergarteners is for them to find English fun and also to excel in phonics, so that when they get to the textbook level of their schooling, they are prepared to read.
I'm hoping to use this forum to help exchange ideas for interactive English games and methods of study, as kindergarteners rarely enjoy flashcards. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you! |
