This is Priyanka from India. I am not a teacher but a trainer. I train call center people in voice and accent, soft skills and culture(UK, US, Australia). I think there is difference in teaching and training, its just like are you being prescriptive or descriptive.

Likewise, I'm interested in your work in India. There has been a lot of press about call centres being set up and based almost exclusively in India. Has there been a noticeable demand for more teacher trainers/ English teachers etc?
Good to hear from all of you. I am working with a consultancy who carters to the training requirements in branded call centers. My firm is looking for some trainers who have a BPO experience and atleast 1 year of training.
This industry is booming again because of the Second World War. Funny!! or may be What rubbish!!! ... But thats the fact. Lets see if anybody can find the facts related to it.
