Maybe I missed something, but why is the ESL Tech Talk located in the category of "Jobs"? |

Hi,
You had me scratching my head there for a second wondering what in the world I was thinking putting that forum into "Jobs". It wasn't actually in the "jobs" category but it looked like it because it was hard to see where the Jobs section ended and tech talk began.
Thanks for pointing that out. I've moved tech talk under the ESL forums now.

Damn! I was hoping ESL Tech Talk was a job! I would have loved to go around telling everyone my job title: Tech Talk Talker. |

Do we have a collection of recommended links for learning how to use some of the latest technological tools? I'd also be interested in a discussion of best practices using old technologies like video. |

ESL Tech Talk is a membership forum here on eslHQ for webmasters who want to discuss their websites. I can't remember how you sign up... |

Mark - Thanks for the memory reminder.
Given my limited knowledge of website construction and my desire to improve it, joining Techtalk seemed sensible. The title, rather expansive, and flawed memory combined to confuse me.
I'll check out CALL. Thanks for the tip.  |

Okay, now I just posted a reply in ESL Tech Talk and the forum popped back up in the forum list. Does the Tech Talk forum disappear if nobody has posted to it after a set amount of days? |

I figured it out...
When you come into ESLhq off of a bookmark, it doesn't register you as signed in so you can't see ESL Tech Talk's forum. BUT, when you click on any of the forums, it automatically signs you into your account (granted you clicked the 'automatic signin' option) so then you can see the forum.
