adverbs of quantity
 
hey everybody,
I am looking for some games and ideas for teaching Adverbs of Quantity. Although my students are teenager, I do not
want to start the lesson with the usuall description and explanation of these adverbs. can anyone help me with
this matter?

Certainly not a lesson plan, but here are some ideas:

With lots of small words, activities like concentration, matching, and pick a card - make a sentence all work well.

Moving around the class or school making statements works too. Ex: All of the teachers are from Canada, Some of the chairs are broken.

They can talk about themselves, ex: all of my classes are in the morning, some of my cousins live in this country, etc.

Those are some quick ideas, nothing too special.

And don't forget that sometimes you have to use the "descriptions and explanations" you mentioned. It's still important to explain before you rush to play games.
