Book for new teachers

A book called TESOL: A Gateway Guide for Teachers of English by Tom Garside has been super helpful to me, covers basic methodology and how to's that you encounter straight off the course. Think the guy who wrote it is a Trinity teacher trainer.

What books would would you recommend for newbies?

Re: Book for new teachers

I think Learning Teaching by Jim Scrivener is the most accessible and useful book for new teachers, that and 700 Classroom Activities got me through my first couple of years.
