children 7-8 years old?

Hi everyone!

I'm recently teaching 7 and 8 year old children. I'm thinking about ideas in order to teach them vocabulary related to rooms (bathroom, bedroom...) in English. Can you help me?

Thanks a lot! :)

You could do just the names of the rooms one day. Then break the rooms down later. Like one day for the kitchen. Go in the kitchen and have them touch things. "Touch the sink? Touch the refrigerator, Give me a fork, etc." Do the same in the other rooms. Have them set the dinner table, calling out the names of items. Ask them what they need to take a shower/bath. "I need a towel, soap, water, etc." They could draw pictures of things like do a pictionary game. You draw some things and they have to guess what it is. Good luck!
