discussion class

Of course, i manage a discussion class which includes the students (adults) with different levels. (mostly higher than pre-intermediate). Each session we work on a particular topic. I want to have a different topic for the last session. Would you please help me and give me some activities to have an enjoyable class as the last day?
Thank u :)

How about health care in the US? Talk about what the current system is like and what the problems are. You can ask students to share info about the health care system in their native country. Good luck!

Hi, I am a former ESL student from the Republic of Georgia. I highly recommend that you check out Compelling Conversations. This book is a great tool for leading a classroom conversation and having students engage in dialogues with one another. It contains 45 chapters each on a different and interesting theme. Under each theme there are many thought provoking questions, some proverbs and quotes. I think your students will love discussing these topics and will have a good time getting to know each other while learning the language.

Good Luck!
Mariam
