I'm a new teacher, help me please!
 
Hi, I'm a student in china and I got part time job as a teacher.
I thaught 5~7 years ols kids, they were beginners, they learnt alphabet,vocabulary,songs... and they loved the class.
but I'm still new in this job, now my students are 8 to 10 years olds, and the director told me theire english is so so, they can understand what I say, I gess they are pre_intermediate or something. they have to learn how to speak, It's a oral class for 10 days. the thing that, i don't from where to start? wich kind of lessons should I give them? and how to make it easy and interesting? Help me please!:help:

Find out about their interests. Then choose a topic. Brainstorm vocabulary related to that topic and leave that on the board. Initiate the conversation. At first, they will only say 1 or maybe 2 sentences about the topic, but with some examples of sentences and words and mostly practice, they'll improve.

You can also ask them to describe a picture.
