Re: TEFL cert in one weekend!?!

Haha I actually did that "intensive" weekend course about three years ago when I was just getting into teaching. It gave me a taste for teaching but honestly I had more questions than answers after that "intensive" course. I knew that I had to learn a lot more to be a good teacher.

At least I focused on doing more study so I did a grammar course and then an online one and now doing a masters. That "intensive" weekend is just a taster, more like a scam!

I'm thinking of doing a course via SMS - should be nice and simple - each message no more than 160 characters.

in 30 minutes or you money back!

You can always buy one if that's too much effort. I know a few teachers who have Thai specials.

I got mine off a guy in a pub. said it was his sister's but she didn't need it any more. Hardly used and accepted in most good schools.
Bargain.

That just goes to prove that proof reading and correcting texts (which I get to do quite a lot) is really hard!

If you've taught writing to Arabic students before, the above text may look frighteningly familiar.
