Using Video Teaching

Does anyone have experience using Video classes to teach their students? For example sites like www.shawenglish.com
or engvid.com

This seems to be a growing trend to teach English through video and I am interested in other teachers' views on this method.

I currently use their videos to supplement my classes.

Re: Using Video Teaching

I only use movies during movie time and sometimes short clips from youtube. It really is an effective way to pick up English. I encourage students to watch English shows instead of local language ones. Students who do this seem to have better overall fluency.
