Teach Away in China! Teach Away is currently interviewing applicants for exciting opportunities working with Disney English throughout China. Within these roles, teachers will teach English to 2-12 year old children in an immersive, creative classroom environment, using the Disney English approach. Creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication are essential for this role. In addition to delivering interactive Disney English content to students, teachers will also attend weekly meetings with the Language Learning Director to ensure effective program delivery, participate in marketing and social events as needed, provide private lessons to learners who are falling behind, communicate with parents, and provide an interactive, fun, and engaging learning experience for all students. Candidates with a passion for teaching young learners will thrive in this role. Experience teaching young learners is required.

JOB DETAILS

Job Location: Various locations throughout China
Start Date: Ongoing
Subjects: English;ESL
Monthly Salary: 10,000-15,000 RMB ($1,500 - $2,400 USD)
Contract Duration: 12-15 months
Housing: Subsidized
Health Insurance: Provided by employer
Airfare: Partial - Flight to China provided (plus a monthly travel allowance that can be used to purchase a flight home)
Vacation: 10 days + 11 national holidays

TEACHING JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Level of Education: Bachelors
Teaching Experience Required: Minimum 18 months of post-Bachelor's work experience; Minimum 6 months of post-Bachelor's teaching/instructional experience (Young learner and/or ESL teaching preferred)
Teacher Category: University Graduate;TEFL Instructor
Bonus: Free Mandarin lessons; 7,000 RMB training bonus
