Conditions and Benefits of working at a Public School
•Start Date: August, September & October 2011
•Contract Term: One year *there are no shorter contracts!*
•Working hours: 8.30am-4.30pm, 88 class hours/month (Appx. 22 class hours/week)
•Monthly Salary: 1.8-2.7million KRW ($1800-$2700 USD) Pay rate is based on a pre-determined •scale depending on a teacher’s education level and teaching experience.
•FREE Accommodations: Single furnished apartment provided OR monthly Housing Allowance: •500,000 KRW
•FREE Airfare: Entrance/Exit Allowance 1.3 Million won paid once at the beginning and again at •the end of the contract to cover airfare and other costs.
•Resettlement Allowance: One-time payment of 300,000 KRW upon arrival
•Severance Bonus: One month salary upon completion of a year contract
•Medical Insurance: 50% paid by school
•Paid Vacation: Minimum 21 working days within the contract year

Minimum Qualifications:
•Must be native English speakers from US, CAN, UK, IRE, AUS, NZD or RSA
•Must hold Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited university in any field
