Re: Teaching English in French primary schools

abonnenfant,
haven't heard of that method before, sounds interesting. As with all these methods I get fed up if you have to pay big money to access it. I like the idea of telling stories though and...

Re: Do you videotape your students? When? Where?

Am going to!

Plan to revise most of the topics covered during the year and take small video clips, then compile into a DVD with subtitles to give to each pupil at the end of the year. Hopefully...

Re: Teaching English in French primary schools

Rouvrou,

Re: Teaching English in French primary schools

Hi Rouvrou, glad to have found you! :D

I find the kids here so enthusiastic and not at all afraid to speak. This is new to me as I mostly taught teenagers and adults before, so I'm not sure if it's...

Re: Doodle vs Scrawl vs scribble

I would conside that to 'doodle' is to create a picture, or drawing while doing something else, to 'scrawl' is to write something badly (but it is words you are forming, not something abstract) and...

Re: match or game?

Am no expert but I would say they are mostly interchangeable. I would go to a football game or match, but I would consider 'game' to be more familiar (the real fans would call it a game).

In tennis...

Re: How to teach without wild games or activites?

Just an update on this situation.

At first I thought I'd never get them to enjoy...
