More Certified High School Teachers Required
 

TAOYUAN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL POSITION
Contract period: 1st of Sep. 2012 to 30th of June 2013, renewable


Curriculum: EFL Practical English (vocationally-oriented)

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
1) Monthly salary: $ 68000-70000 NTD (around $2343 USD)
----Monthly costs of living (food, rent, transportation, etc.) in Taiwan is around 700-900 USD, depends on how one spend money
2) Contract renewal bonus: $20000 (NTD)
3) Paid vacation : Summer & Winter vacation, in accordance with school calendar
4) Labor and health insurance: Available

TEACHING HOURS:
Working Hour: Mon-Fri 8am-5:00pm, 25 classes weekly
40-50 min per class (vary in accordance with school)

TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Must be a native English speaker
2) With 4 years bachelor's degree or a higher degree
3) Must have a Teacher License/Teacher Registration/ Certificate or Marriage / Permanent ARC holder

ABOUT TAX
According to the current regulation for foreign tax payers, the tax rate of the first 183 days in one taxable year is 18 %. The tax rate would drop lower to around 6 % after the completion of 183 days in one taxable year. Foreign tax payers would be eligible for tax refund when their overall stay is over 183 days in one taxable year.
