Position Details:

Tamshui MRT Elementary School (open for Permanent/ Marriage ARC Holders & K-12 Certified Teachers)

Start Date: Late August or Early September 2012
Contract Term: 1 year, renewable
Curriculum: EFL ( English as Foreign Language)
Subject: Art, PE, Science – Partial Subject (depends on the teacher's strength)

Qualification and REQUIREMENTS:
- Native speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland & SA
- 4 years of Bachelor's Degree minimal
-Teacher Certificate/License
U.S.A.- state certified
U.K. - QTS /QTLS / PGCE
Canada - province certified
Australia -certified by QTC /NSW, etc...
New Zealand - certified by Teacher Council
Ireland-certified by the Teaching Council
South Africa – SACE
-or Marriage ARC Holder

Note:
TAX – According to the current regulation for foreign tax payers, the tax rate of the first 183 days in one taxable year is 18 %. The tax rate would drop lower to around 6 % after the completion of 183 days in one taxable year. Foreign tax payers would be eligible for tax refund when their overall stay is over 183 days in one taxable year.
MONTHLY COST OF LIVING – (food, rent, transportation, etc.) in Taiwan is around 700-900 USD, depends on how one spend money
