Thumbs up Binding Conjunctions

I use current books and movies that the students enjoy watching. Then create activities to encourage students to use a variety of binding conjunctions.
Such as "Harry Potter enjoyed creating magical spells: When did Harry like to create spells. Get the students to add a timing conjunction such as 'when, after, as soon as," then the end clause.
"Harry enjoyed creating magical spells: Why did Harry like to create spells. Get the students to use a reason conjunction - because, as, due to the fact.
