Are you working with a textbook? If not, I would suggest getting one that is appropriate for your level. Having a textbook will help guide you through the proper steps and stages of 'what to do next'. Good books will have phonics lessons accompanied with appropriate writing/grammar lessons and in-class activities.
In the past, I always used the
Let's Go series. It comes with a comprehensive Teacher's book loaded with activities, flashcards, song books and plenty more.
Getting a textbook will be the best way to help you plan your lessons and guide you and your students to the next level.
