Default Musical Chairs

This is a pretty simple game to practice speaking and to get students up and moving (ie.TPR).
  1. Find some music that is lively and fun.
  2. Arrange the chairs in a circle with one less chair than there are children.
  3. Turn on music and make students walk clockwise (or counter-clockwise depending on what hemisphere you are in) around their chairs.
  4. Stop the music and everyone should find a chair. The person left standing has to answer a question. You could have them answer a spelling question or even read a passage from a book.
  5. Repeat.
