Hi All!
I just want to give some ideas to our classroom teachers that teach Math to our 3rd-5th graders. I know they sometimes use other students as interpreters for newcomers, but this dosn't work for me because kids don't pick up any math vocabulary like that. I was thinking about suggesting the use of math vocabulary journals and some word walls. What have you found effective and not-so-TIME-consuming for teachers? The easier it is, the more agreeable they'll be in implementing it!
