Question difference between seem not to and do not seem

here is an multiple choice in our workshhet
AS i know,he _______anybody.
A seems not to connect with
B doesn't seem to connect with

i can not make sure which is wrong or right. The exercises in China always are too hard. Can anyone tell me which one is correct .Thanks in advance.

Both are correct and mean exactly the same thing.

The first part of the sentence "As I know" is very strange though. It would be quite usual to start "As you know", or possibly "As I know from past experience", but not just "As I know" on its own.
