Re: Omission of articles by native speakers Hi Susan, here is another written example of (an?) article omission apparently for no reason:
The Lady Galadriel is ruler, with her husband Celeborn, of the Elven kingdom of Lothlorien.
Why isn't there A in front of "ruler"?

pps. can "article omission" be used in generic sense here without "an"? |
