Another idea kids love is a class book. Have each student complete the sentence, say, 'I am happiest when.....' and illustrate their sentence... Students love reading these books as there is a simple repeated pattern to each page, and a picture to help read the other words.

I love the idea of making a class book out of one repeating pattern. That's a very cool idea for little ones, and I think it would make a nice gift around Christmas, too. I miss teaching kids!
