I am sorry for the simple question but are you visiting Italy as a tourist or are you going to Italy to Teach English?

Anyhow, if you are visiting it is a beautiful country if you visit the right parts. Stay away from the city and goto the countryside as there are many beautiful walks etc. When I was in the military we went on an expedition to Italy for a walk (100 miles) to commemorate the dead from WW2 in Italy and the POW Prisoners in Italy. We started in the Abruzzi Mountains and totally recommend that region to travel.

Anyhow, if you are working and not travelling have a nice time nonetheless.

I'm in Sardinia and that's pretty much all I know about Italy. It's a beautiful island and there's generally a lot of work around.
I spent a wonderful weekend in Rome - amazing place! Fell in love with it the moment I arrived. A city with an atmosphere like no other.
Trieste is a nice city too - especially if you like cold winters.

Come and give it a go!
