Smile Please help with teaching Giving Instruction

Hi everyone,

Thank you for all the great ideas for teaching ordinal numbers used for dates. It worked out very well.

I think I need your help again with teaching how to give instructions at school. This lesson is for Grade 7 (First year of secondary school) in Indonesia. I will really appreciate all ideas above the above subject.

Thank you

Imul

I would definitely include such sequencing adverbs like first, next, then, finally, etc. I think this is a good step to begin with. After that, you can add warnings and suggestions, like be sure to, and you can. Then after practicing the language as a class, it comes down to using the language in real-life contexts. Consider having students tell a partner or group how to make rice or tea, or how to send an e-mail, or how to practice a favorite sport.
