What about "would enjoy" + to infinitive? Is it also correct?

We use TO INF. after I would like/prefer/hate/etc..., except "I would mind" which follows v.ing....

What about after the structure "I would enjoy"? Is it followed by "v.ing", "to infinitive" or both? e.g.:

I would enjoy playing golf.
I would enjoy to play golf....

"Whether" is incorrect in this sentence. The correct word would be "if", but I don't understand why. I know that whether is more formal...

I understand your explanation. However, we can use such with and adjective and a noun
e.g. Maybe this isn't such a good idea as I thought.
