How come nobody replied to this? I dunno what to do for Thanksgiving either. I was thinking maybe they can decorate the classroom with fall-themed things and give a short presentation on the history...

I did a Pumpkin Hunt :) kinda like an Easter Egg Hunt, but with Pumpkins. It's amazing how a bunch of 15year-old kids can behave like 5year-olds LOL. They had a lot of fun. Thanks for all your help.

It's things like: the more I read, the smarter I get, or the less I read, the dumber I feel.
It's a very boring lesson, and the book isn't suited for teenagers.

I had the same problem with my group. What I did was showing them a flashcard and elict the word, and they had to repeat it aloud three times. Don't expect children to respond very quickly, some take...
